Leaders in Cryorefrigeration for
over 40 years....
Cryomech is a recognized leader in new
cryorefrigerator (cryocooler) design and manufacturing. We developed
and produced the world’s first 4K Pulse Tube Cryorefrigerator (PTR).
We also manufacture the largest variety of single stage
Gifford-McMahon Cycle Cryorefrigerators available anywhere.
Our LNP Series, Liquid Nitrogen Plants and our
LHeP, Liquid Helium Plants offer our customers the ability to control
and conserve the liquid cryogens they require in their laboratories.
Our goal is to develop and manufacture today
the Cryorefrigerators required for the applications of tomorrow.
Cryomech was founded in 1963 by Professor William E.
Gifford, the inventor of the Gifford McMahon Cycle and the Pulse
Tube Cycle. In 1992, Cryomech developed it's first Liquid
Nitrogen Plant, the LNP40. In 1999 Dr. Chao Wang developed the
first commercially available 4k Pulse Tube Cryocooler. This year,
2007 Cryomech has introduced the LHeP12 and 20 Liquid Helium Plants.
Cryomech's present team of 45 employees strive to
